Every customer, ticket, invoice and note stays on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to any server we own.
No usage analytics, no crash reports, no advertising frameworks, no tracking pixels. We built it that way.
All subscriptions go through the App Store. We never see your card, billing address, or payment history.
SimpleRTS is designed with privacy at its core. All data you enter — customer details, tickets, repair records — is stored exclusively on your Mac and is never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

SimpleRTS stores the following data locally on your Mac. None of it is ever transmitted to us or to any third party:
You are solely responsible for the security of your Mac and the data stored within the app. We recommend enabling FileVault encryption and keeping macOS up to date.
SimpleRTS offers in-app purchases and subscriptions processed exclusively through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information. All billing, receipts, and payment data are handled entirely by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
The only information we receive from Apple is a confirmation that a valid purchase exists on your device, used solely to unlock the relevant features.
SimpleRTS itself does not collect, transmit, or process:
There are no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks integrated into SimpleRTS. The app does not "phone home" — it does not contact any server controlled by us, ever.
For data that is transmitted when you choose to use specific features (such as sending an SMS or an email to your customers), see the next section.
SimpleRTS includes optional features that, when you enable and use them, transmit data from your Mac to third-party services you have configured. These transmissions are user-initiated and require credentials that you provide — no data is sent automatically.
If you configure your own Twilio account in Settings → Email & SMS, SimpleRTS will send the customer's phone number and the message text to Twilio when you choose to send an SMS from a ticket. Twilio is the data processor in this case; their privacy practices are governed by Twilio's Privacy Notice.
SimpleRTS does not store your Twilio credentials anywhere except your Mac's secure Keychain, and does not send any data to Twilio unless you explicitly trigger an SMS.
If you configure an SMTP server in Settings → Email & SMS, SimpleRTS will send the customer's email address and the email content (which may include ticket details, photos, and PDF attachments) to that server when you choose to send an email from a ticket. The SMTP server is one you choose — typically your own business email provider — and your provider's privacy terms apply to that data.
SMTP credentials are stored only in your Mac's secure Keychain. No data is sent unless you explicitly trigger an email.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple, as described in the Purchases & subscriptions section above.
Because SimpleRTS does not collect or process personal data on our servers, the majority of UK GDPR obligations relating to data controller responsibilities do not apply to our use of your data. The data you enter into the app is under your sole control as the data controller for your repair business.
As a repair shop operator, you may be processing personal data belonging to your customers within the app. You are responsible for ensuring your use of that data complies with UK GDPR and any other applicable data protection legislation.
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete any data at any time from within the app.
Uninstalling SimpleRTS from your Mac will remove the application, though local database files may remain in your user library folder and should be deleted manually if you wish to remove all data completely.
SimpleRTS is a professional business tool intended for use by adults operating repair businesses. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of SimpleRTS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
